The other looks like a lightweight non-woven interfacing. A brand name for that kind is Vilene.

It's awesome stuff ... rinse it under running water or let it soak or put it through the laundry ... and *poof* ... it absolutely disappears. If you just rinse it out, there will be some residual to provide a bit of stiffness to the item. If you want ALL of it out, the laundry is the best bet.

You pay a premium for the pre-packed stabilizer (true of anything) and will get a better price if you buy it as yardage.Shelley: the Dread Pirate Rodgershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13431557867878383150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5687055470453320930.post-12583676165661612692010-09-01T18:13:16.090-04:002010-09-01T18:13:16.090-04:00Hello,

I don't draw but I could certainly do some other ideas I have squirrled away. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.Debra Dixonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14959081275116311853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5687055470453320930.post-54059795135756766732010-08-02T10:27:04.209-04:002010-08-02T10:27:04.209-04:00I've used the sulky heat away one that you iro...I've used the sulky heat away one that you iron away. I think I might have some around here somewhere, I'll pull it out and you can see if you like it. It's very stiff stuff so it's easy to stitch on without using a hoop.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5687055470453320930.post-48424401321344111782010-08-02T08:49:51.085-04:002010-08-02T08:49:51.085-04:00If you google stabilisers you will find several wh...If you google stabilisers you will find several which you can iron away eg Sulky Heat Away, Thermogaze heat away etc. Hope this helps!ju-northhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14133246789821330730noreply@blogger.com
