Khaki And Sapphire with Black

Today is the Fiberactions Art Group reveal.
The challenge: to use colors which begin with the first letter of your first name and the first letter of your last name + black.

Khaki And Sapphire

The background is commercial fabric which was painted with textile paints then quilted.

The tall leaves are cut from a silk fabric, folded, stitched then stitched in place with no raw edges.

The dragonfly was sculpted with dressmaker's fabrics and funky ribbons.

Black was used only in the wings, outline of the flowers and the spider web.

Check out the other artist's work at the Fiberactions site http://fiberactions.blogspot.com/
