...this was started in the winter and I finally got around to finishing it. It was fun to make and I'd like to make another in a different color-way.

The past few days were summer-like and I've been outside getting some yard chores done.
While giving the patio furniture a fresh coat of paint, this cool dragonfly visited.
...luckily, this chair had already dried...
We always get a lot of dragonflies, but this was the first time I've seen this type.
He was quite large.
To the naked eye, his wings looked like paddles, but through the lense you can see his full translucent wing.
I hope he comes back- I'd like to try and get a better photo.
...this was the best I could get- he flew away before I could focus....
In the blink of an eye.

I rescued a dragonfly like that one last night when I was out with the dog. It flew into a spider web.
Great bracelet~I like all the coiled silver.
I got a little choked up seeing those shots of D...off they go.
