You had me at "quilting"! Is this a whole cloth project? Or the back of a quilt? Gorgeous! The boy who is cutting hair (not the one doing the "trusting") looks a little bit like my son!
Are those your sons? they sure don't look like the picture in your sidebar!
My standard response for those "haircutting sessions" when my boys got a little scissor happy was "It's just hair. It'll grow back!" but sometimes even I wondered!
